Estate Factor and Farms Manager
Mr Charles Russell. Btechnol, PgDip
Charlie who is originally from Aberdeenshire, has for the past 14 years been combining the dual role of Farms Manager and Estate Factor on the Estate.

He relishes the opportunity of harmonising the environment with commercial agriculture, forestry, sporting interests, tourism and natural heritage designations to the benefit of all.

He is 2013 Nuffield scholar, a member of the Scottish Sheep Strategy Group and The 2011 Farmers Weekly Farm Manager and Farmer of the year.

Management Accountant
Ms Sally Watt.
Sally started working with the Inchcape Family as part-time management accountant in 1990 from a background in travel and the oil industry, moving to full time in 2005.

Sally is Company Secretary of Inchcape Family Estates Ltd, Glenappís parent company and is based at the groupís head office in Edinburgh, reinforcing the familyís Scottish roots.

Sally is in charge of the accounts but is a secret good weather shepherd !

Cow and Parlour Manager
Mr Jim Murray.
Jim joined the Glenapp team in January 2010 as Assistant Dairy Manager, just prior to us starting milking, from a neighbouring Estate where he had been Head Herdsman for 25 years.

He has wealth of knowledge of everything bovine to Burns and is normally seen armed with an AI gun, foot trimming knives, LIC bunnet and a joke !

Head Tractorman, Digger Driver,
Mr Charlie Gillespie.
Charlie started at Glenapp in January 2008 as a Tractorman/General Farm Worker coming with a strong history of the South West of Scotland.

He now leads the majority of our tractorwork, is involved with the ongoing improvement of infastructure and buildings and regularly helps out with stock work and feeding.

Normally seen in a Red Valtra wearing a John Deere boiler suit but occasionally chasing elusive Scottish Game.

Head Gamekeeper
Mr Paddy Plested.
Paddy joined the Glenapp Team as Head Keeper in March 2009 and immediately set about opening up new areas to expand our shoot enterprise and rejuvenated some old favourites whilst maximizing the environmental and conservation benefits.

His positive professional manner, dedicated 32 years experience of the sporting industry and the promotion of his own high standards throughout the industry have raised the bar for the Glenapp Experience and guarantee our customers an experience they will never forget.

Now into season number 4 in charge at Glenapp, he has expanded our rearing field to guarantee top quality poults for release, opened up the renowned partridge drives at Currarie port and continued to increase the biodiversity across the Estate.

Beat Keeper
Mr John Martin.
John has looked after the Pheasant and Partridge in the South of the Estate since 2007 having moved north from Hertfordshire.

He moved into Gamekeeping following a career with the RAF, and now enjoys harmonising game keeping with the environment and wildlife.

Mechanic and Handyman
Mr Drew McCaig.
Drew joined the Glenapp team as mechanic/handyman/rake operator.

With a wealth of experience with mechanicing, building and plumbing works he has quickly estabished himself as a key member of Staff.

He is extremely good natured and always up for a challange - Glenapp's very own "Mr Fix It"
