For the past 37 years the Inchcape Family has been hosting shooting parties on their family estate at Glenapp in South West Scotland. The 5250 hectare private coastal Estate is set amongst the magnificent scenery of South Ayrshire and with spectacular views from its coastal location across the Irish Sea to Ailsa Craig, Mull of Kintyre and Ireland.

The unique mixture of deep glens, dramatic coastal cliffs, heather clad hills and forestry combine idyllically to lend themselves to game shooting. Each of our drives has its own individual character and charm, which combine to test even the most accomplished of shots.

Our clients, many now long standing friends, come from far a field to enjoy high and sporting birds together with wonderful hospitality . This, combined with strong home reared birds, good organisation and a friendly, well run atmosphere, ensure you will have a memorable day with us at Glenapp.

Having run and organised shoots for more than 37 years, we know that a day's shooting is not just about pulling the trigger.
Moreover, the day would not be complete unless transport, meals and cartridges to name but a few items were organised, if required, for you and your guests. We therefore ensure that each and every aspect of your trip has been considered and the necessary arrangements have been made to make your day perfect in every way.

This is what has established Glenapp as one of Scotland’s premier Sporting Estates with a rich history of showing some of the highest quality, challenging and sporting pheasant off a huge variety of landscapes from high hills to ancient woodland and deep glens. We have established notable and renowned drives throughout the Estate in the Carlock, Currarie and Finnart’s Glens.

The pheasant shoot combines perfectly with the partridge shoot which is established on the dramatic coastal cliffs,  amid the high hills, deep glens and moorland fringe of the Estate allowing  experienced guns a fantastic opportunity for challenging sport throughout the season.

At Glenapp we pride ourselves in proving a professional service to discerning sportsmen from all over the world and giving them the opportunity to enjoy some of the very best pheasant and partridge shooting.

Days are arranged around your requirements and guaranteed to be an experience you will never forget.   We can arrange a variety of accommodation and would be delighted to assist with transport links to and from the Estate.

We still have a small number of days available this season and therefore can offer a marvellous opportunity for a new team of guns to take shooting on Glenapp.

Glenapp is situated 3 miles south of the village of Ballantrae, 50 minutes from Prestwick Airport or 1 hour 45 minutes south of Glasgow Airport.
